06月27日訊 2025年選秀大會，埃斯-貝利的經(jīng)紀(jì)人警告一支擁有前五順位（獨行俠、馬刺、76人、黃蜂、爵士）球隊不許選，選了也不去報到。

在前兩年的選秀期間，Klutch Sports首席執(zhí)行官里奇-保羅先后發(fā)出警告，讓雄鹿以58號簽摘得克里斯-利文斯頓，也讓湖人以55順位拿到布朗尼。

埃斯-貝利最終在第5順位被爵士選中。
